Ever After: Muryeong

This multidisciplinary exhibition project explores and reflects upon our contemporary lives through the historical lens of King Muryeong, his royal tomb, and the artifacts buried within. In collaboration with a curator, a designer, and an AR creator, the project translates historical texts into modern visual languages within the gallery space. Accompanying the exhibition, the Map of Eternal Rest workshop invited visitors to experience a performative excavation, guiding them to confront and explore the concept of 'a person's tomb.' Rather than leaving ancient heritage and the heavy contemplation of death institutionalized in the past, this project sought to expand the narrative by gently connecting them to the inner lives of individuals living in the present.
